Kyocera KR1

We have a ton of experience with the Kyocera KR1 and this router is an incredible device.

Around 4 months BEFORE the Kyocera KR1 was officially released, we received a demo unit and we wrote a Kyocera KR1 Review. We have had almost 150,000 people read our review. After the Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router was released, we immediately setup KR1 Support Forums on EVDOForums.

Since the KR1 was released on February 2006, we have sold thousands of these routers. Our support guys know the KR1 very well. We also offer our KR1 customers options to have US upgrade the firmware for them, via an advanced exchange or a mail-in upgrade.

Over the next month or so, we will be announcing some KR1 add-ons that bring some unique and interesting new capabilities to the KR1 (more on this next month).

Today, we are putting Kyocera KR1 on sale. Our sister site is now selling them for $249.99 (retail price is $299.99) (plus get a $50 mail-in rebate until 12/31/2006). If you have a PC5740 card and you do not want to tackle the firmware upgrade, we can perform the upgrade to your router before shipping (add $20).
