Verizon tells FCC they're running out of Spectrum

Verizon Wireless has been going back and forth when talking about spectrum for their 4G LTE network. Last month they said they've got plenty of spectrum for 4G, now they're filing with the FCC indicating problems will occur after 2015. Verizon currently has 29Mhz of spectrum in the 700Mhz band, which is more than their closest competitor AT&T with 16Mhz of 700Mhz spectrum. To compensate for this potential spectrum crisis they plan to aggressively deploy capacity enhancing technologies including small cells and femtocells.
