Microsoft Windows 8 Tablet Surface

At a press release in Los Angeles, Microsoft announced they would sell their own Microsoft branded Windows 8 RT tablet under the “Surface” badge. The tablet is 9.3mm thick, weighs 1.3 pounds and is powered by an NVIDIA ARM chip. The Surface WiFi range should be excellent with dual 2X2 MIMO antennas that allow you to get farther from WiFi hotspots. Tablet fans can also look forward to a multi-touch keyboard, HDMI port, microSD and either 32GB or 64GB of storage. There is no set date for the launch but it looks like there’s a new competitor out there after the iPad and Android tablets!
