AT&T text hints of shared data plans

Earlier this month Verizon officially launched their shared data plans, and according to AT&T texts it looks like they’re following Verizon’s lead. Courtesy of Technology Tell pictures have emerged from text messages stating “Group Data”, which can only mean this data is meant to be shared across multiple devices. AT&T hasn’t officially said if such plans exist, or were in the works, but it looks like Group Data is now in their account summary text message. Shared data plans allow you to pool data across multiple devices so you don’t pay as much for devices that don’t use as much data as others.
