US Cellular 4G LTE goes Unlimited

U.S. Cellular today announced a new data plan that will allow unlimited access to its 4G LTE network available in select markets.

The new $40 per month plan ends the monitoring of data usage because customers will be allowed to use as much data as they want when connected to U.S. Cellular's LTE network.  The only additional data cost would be an extra $20 per month to be able to use tethering.

The carrier expects to have 4G available to 58 percent of its current customers by the end of the year, but faster speeds are already available in Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, and several other areas.
