Verizon launches more 4G LTE markets

Today Verizon Wireless announced they’ve added 4G LTE coverage to 26 markets and extended coverage in 36 existing markets. This brings Verizon’s total 4G LTE deployment to 470 cities across the country and now covers over 80% of the population! The speed at which Verizon has deployed LTE is amazing and they have more LTE coverage than all other major carriers combined. In a 4G LTE area customers should expect to see 5-12Mbps download and 2-5Mbps.
