Verizon Wireless Q4 2012 earnings

Verizon Wireless just announced their best quarter yet for subscriber growth. In the last quarter Verizon managed to add 2.1 million new customers and has a total customer base of 98.2 million customers. Their total revenue totaled $30 billion for the first time, but a one time pension cost them between $9 to 10 billion for the quarter and Hurricane Sandy cost them $135 million in damages. Verizon also finished the year with 4G LTE coverage in 476 markets covering a total of 273 million people with the fourth generation wireless technology.
