Windows 7 SP1 automatically pushed to neglected PCs

Have you been using Windows 7 without upgrading to service pack 1? Microsoft is no longer giving you a choice and starting today will be deploying SP1 via Windows Update to any PCs that don’t have it. This could present some major problems for 3G/4G data users, or others on usage based packages because the update WILL NOT require your consent. The file weighs in at almost 1GB so leaving your computer connected to the Internet on a Windows 7 computer will automatically eat 20% of your cap, assuming you’re on a basic 5GB data tier. The service pack push will occur over the next few weeks and Microsoft will officially be dropping their Windows 7 RTM support on April 9th.
