Winter storms across the southeast, mid-Atlantic, and midwest are wreaking havoc on shipping and deliveries. Both UPS and FedEx have released statements notifying customers that packages already in transit going through those areas may be delayed, and pickups and deliveries in the affected areas are halted today (2/17/15).
Customers should also keep in mind that FedEx and UPS do NOT issue shipping refunds for shipments delayed by weather.

Severe winter weather is impacting service in areas of the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest, including locations in Arkansas, the District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. There will be no pickups or deliveries today in the affected areas.
We will work to ensure the safety of our employees while minimizing effects on service. Contingency plans are in place to ensure that shipments arrive at their final destinations as quickly as possible as conditions permit.
Check ups.com for the latest information on service delays, including ZIP codes where no pickups or deliveries are being made today.
