Verizon Increases Price of Unlimited Data
Starting November 15th, Verizon Wireless will be raising the price on their legacy unlimited data plans. This brings the total monthly cost from $29.99 up to $49.99. Be aware that the data plan cost comes in addition to a whatever the customer chooses for their talk and text rate. This means final bill costs will vary from user to user.
As we've seen many times before, it seems this change may have been prompted by a similar move made by Sprint recently. They raised the unlimited plan price from $60 to $70, which is starting October 16.
Keep in mind, Verizon no longer offers its unlimited plan, so this of course applies to those customers who already have the plan. New service for new customers fall under their new tiered data plans that began in August.
